SUN 'N FUN SPORTS offers a waterski & wakeboard vacation in Winter Haven / Lake Alfred Florida, which is located between Orlando and Tampa, belongs to "Polk County" and with its approx. 50 lakes thereof 24 connected by channels, also called "The Chain of Lakes City".
We are right on the northern part of the "Chain of Lakes", which provides ideal conditions for many types of water sports. Therefore a perfect vacation destination for water sports people and nature lovers.
Beginners to advanced level skiers all ages are welcome, even if you have never done water skiing or wakeboarding before and just want to try it and have some fun on the water during your vacation here in Central Florida.
Also tennis players, golfers, fishermen and pilots will love Winter Haven / Lake Alfred and the surrounding area. Two modern tennis facilities, the next golf course, and the small sports airfield are only a few miles away.

We would like to pass on our knowledge and expertise to all of those who want to come and join us at
SUN 'N FUN SPORTS for an active sports vacation, or for just a day or even a few hours, while visiting Florida.
Thomas
was born 1966 in Seattle, Washington, USA and came to Germany as a 4-year-old child with his parents. In addition to school, education and study, for him sports were always the center of his life. As a young boy and teenager he practiced gymnastics and competed many years in this sport. Afterwards he moved on to water sports. From 1995-1999 he was the number 1 in wakeboarding in Germany and among the top 10 in Europe. At that time he has already run his own wakeboard school (No Limits Wakeboard School) in Florida. Of course he had to compensate the "boring" 9-5 work life for a British computer company with some action by participating in quad motocross races all over Germany until 2006. After he stopped racing he moved on to the tennis sport and became a licensed tennis coach with the US Tennis Academy Germany in 2013. Another passion of Thomas is flying with multiple licenses.
Daniela
was born 1976 in Constance, Germany. She always had a great passion for sports and spent most of her spare time with training. In 1991 she moved to the gymnastic boarding school at the Olympic Training Center in Frankfurt am Main. Following her successful gymnastics career with numerous national titles and competitions in the German National Team, she intensively started water skiing for the Malibu-Show-Team in Erlenbach am Main, Germany in 1996. Since then she spent almost every free weekend on the water, and since 2001 many vacations in Florida to learn from the world's best water skiers and coaches. She is now a member of the Cypress Gardens Waterski Team in Winter Haven. Daniela also shares the passion for tennis, and flying with Thomas. She also loves to do Aerial Silks.
